I'm Chris, my wife is Dawn, we are both retired; this is a diary of our travels with our boat Coromandel and our Hymer camper. Coromandel is a 42ft Colecraft narrowboat with a cruiser stern, 30+yrs old and powered by a 35hp Shanks diesel engine. The layout is a double bedroom to the stern, shower room, kitchen, and lounge. Cratch and stern covers give us more usable space. Our Camper is a LHD 7mtr Hymer with a 2.8 TDi on a Fiat base. We have fitted 2x80watt solar panels and led lighting, so are not dependent on mains electricity. Gas for the cooker and heating is from 2 "Gaslow" bottles, which we can fill at LPG points in petrol stations across Europe.

Regrettably I've got to change this description, because we are going to stop our roaming until I get mobile again. This means selling the van and boat and living back in our bungalow with Mum; we hope, in the future, to buy a smaller van that Dawn feels happy driving. I'm going to keep the diary going for now, but it will be more jokes and puzzles and less travel news.
